Huawei Mate 20 with Kirin 980 allegedly scored over 10K at Geekbench's multi-core test
Huawei's upcoming Mate 20 allegedly appeared on Geekbench recently. There, it showed the highest benchmark score on any Android device yet.

The Huawei handset with the model number LYA-L29 running on the possible Kirin 980, 6GB RAM, and Android 9 OS got a single-core score of 3,390 and a multi-core score of 10,318.

It is noticeably higher than the 2,416 single-core and 8,995 score of the Snapdragon 845 powered OnePlus 6 and 1,903 single-core and 6,503 multi-core score of the Kirin 970 powered Huawei P20 Pro.

Only the Galaxy Note9 has a higher single-core score 3,668. But, its multi-core score of 9,062 is still lower than the 10,318 multi-core score of the upcoming Huawei phone.
Based on early benchmarks, the iPhone XS and XS Plus are still the king of Geekbench with 11K multi-core score.
But, let us also remember that this is not yet the final build of the upcoming Huawei device.
The Huawei Mate 20 series with the 7 nm Kirin 980 will go official on October 16 in London.
